Аннотация
Annotattion: This article investigates the historical development of phraseological units and examines their semantic equivalence in Turkish and Uzbek languages. Phraseological expressions reflect the cultural identity, historical experience, and worldview of a nation. The study provides a typological and comparative linguistic analysis of phraseological units in both languages, identifying common roots as well as language-specific features shaped by socio-cultural contexts. The research highlights the role of idiomatic expressions as carriers of national mentality and explores their significance in linguistic and cultural studies.
